slide 1 of 2 Race Equity Action Plan Our Race Equity Action Plan sets out how we will be anti-racist and improve multi ethnic representation at all levels of the company. The plan is underpinned by signing up to the Race at Work charter - a public commitment to prioritising action on race equity. Our key areas of focus to increase multi-ethnic representation are: to review our people processes to minimise bias in hiring, internal promotions, pay, talent and performance management to prioritise at least 25% of places on our internal leadership development programme to multi ethnic colleagues to partner with Vercida to widen the diversity of our candidates to pilot a programme to pair multi ethnic colleagues with our senior leadership group to aid visibility and internal progression support Development for All Grow! is our online learning platform that offers a wealth or courses, articles, videos and more. The content comes from a wide range of external sources as well as content we've designed in house including Racial Equity at Work, Bias in People Decisions - Hiring and Performance Review, Microaggressions and Mental Health. From 2021 we'll be launching a "License to Hire" course that must be completed by anyone involved with recruitment. Our modules include: Objective Hiring Legal Considerations when Hiring Bias in Hiring Decisions Creating a Winning Candidate Experience Microaggressions Audit In October 2020 we partnered with InChorus to hold our first microaggressions audit. This involved colleagues confidentially flagging instances of work related bias work-related bias and microaggressions that they experienced directly or observed happening to another colleague. Alongside our regular engagement survey, this is another opportunity for colleagues to signpost hotspots for action and express the extent to which they feel they belong at Moneysupermarket Group. The audit helped us better understand colleagues’ experience of everyday bias, microaggressions and other non-inclusive behaviours. The insights and findings will inform targeted awareness and educational interventions as part of our 2021 Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging Plan.
