What’s the most challenging thing about working here?
The most challenging thing about working at Moneysupermarket Group is the overall pace but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. With Moneysupermarket Group being a digital business, its a good challenge to have because it keeps everyone on their toes and there is so much movement within Digital marketing in particular so me and my team are always learning and improving. The good thing is that my seniors give me the time to improve and this is always encouraged by them which helps massively.
What makes Moneysupermarket Group unique?
The people make Moneysupermarket Group unique. Everyone that I know who has the left the business to stretch their wings have always been gutted at leaving and leaving the people they have worked with behind. The people here at Moneysupermarket Group and across all levels make this a warm and welcoming place to work and there really is a team culture flowing throughout the group. The opportunity to improve and learn is also very unique, something which I have not experienced in other places I have worked at. Ample time and resources are given to every employee so that they can achieve their full potential and that’s why Moneysupermarket Group is an excellent place to work.
How has your career developed during your time at Moneysupermarket Group?
I have been promoted twice since I started here at Moneysupermarket Group in early 2017. I started out as a associate and I was lucky to have a really good manager who showed a lot of belief and care in my learning. Since my first few months, I have gradually been involved in bigger and more wider impacting projects that has helped our Digital marketing team be as efficient and profitable as possible. I have also had the opportunity to further my education on the Digital operations role by combining mine and my colleagues role when he went on a 6 month sabbatical in 2019. This allowed me get a much more rounded understanding of my team, not just focus on my side of the fence but get a feel for my colleagues resposibilties too. Now, I am a senior Digital Operations Executive and I supervise/mentor the new Digital Operations Associate who joined the team in late 2019.
