TravelSupermarket had always been a brand that I had aspired to work for. I joined the company in March 2020 as a Performance Marketing Executive. This was just two weeks before the lock down. The team that I joined optimise the paid search for TravelSupermarket. As our work requires constant interaction with each other, I thought to work remotely was going to be a challenge. Fortunately, TravelSupermarket provided all the equipment /tools to allow us to work from home efficiently and we were connected all the time using IM, video, and VOIP software.

I must say that it felt a bit odd in the beginning as I didn't know the team members, but they made me feel at home. We had regular conversations and they involved me in number of projects straight away and provided help when needed. Soon after joining, I realised that I made the right decision by choosing TravelSupermarket.

I believe one of the main reasons that most people work for TravelSupermarket is the “family like” environment that they have. Colleagues are friendly and always ready to help. Although I've been with TravelSupermarket for a short time, my managers and work environment have allowed me to improve my skills, including working independently and improving my communication skills.
